Antonio is a great trainer. He knows his stuff and he does a great job customizing workouts based off the clients’ goals. He also will push you to get stronger while keeping the workouts safe. He’s a great teacher and trainer all-around. I recommend him.

The trainers are friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to help with proper guidance and workout plans. I really like the positive and motivating environment, which makes it easier to stay consistent with my routine. The gym is also spacious and not overcrowded, so training feels comfortable even during busy hours. Membership fees are reasonable for the facilities provided. The gym is at great location, near to station and the price is reasonable too. The equipment are also nicely maintained. There are often times when they are broken or under repair, but can’t complain with the membership fee charged every month. Although it would be nice to just have either yearly or enrolment fee

Summary: A pretty decent value for money kind (among the options available in Newport area) with good well maintained equipment and not so crowded gym. Full Review: I had been looking for a decent gym in the Newport area at an affordable price. Most gyms in the area are considerably more expensive and the Club Metro hits the sweet spot. This is one of the reasons it became pretty popular in the area. The gym is very close to the PATH and has most facilities that you expect from a normal gym The gym is pretty well maintained and looks new. There is ample equipment for weight training and cardio. The gym tends to get crowded during the evenings but haven't found myself waiting much for any equipments which is a great sign. There are about 2 of each for most machines and equipment. They are well maintained and have found the staff pretty responsive to feedback. I have found the basic membership as the most value for money. It includes access to all the weight training and cardio equipment, sauna and lockers. I felt like the add-ons are slightly expensive. They also have a protein shake counter but the prices are pretty high. Overall its a good gym in the area and you should defini
